Fulham enter 2026/27 under new management for the first time in five years, with Álvaro Arbeloa appointed head coach on a three-year contract following Marco Silva's departure. It's the club's fifth consecutive season in the Premier League — a run of stability that's been the platform Silva built before handing the reins to his successor.
Fulham finished 11th in 2025/26, reaching the FA Cup fifth round and the EFL Cup quarter-finals, with Harry Wilson as the club's leading scorer. The summer has already brought change beyond the dugout, with defender Issa Diop departing for newly promoted Ipswich Town. Arbeloa's pre-season programme includes home friendlies against Bundesliga side Stuttgart and Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli, alongside further tests versus Norwich City, Farense and Crystal Palace, as he prepares his first Premier League campaign in English club management.
The new season kicks off the weekend of 21–22 August, with Fulham looking to maintain their now-familiar mid-table Premier League status under fresh leadership at Craven Cottage.
