Experience the Bayerische Staatsoper's 2026/27 season at Munich's historic Nationaltheater, opening with the UniCredit Opening Festival and an open-air Opera for All: BMW Classics Concert featuring Diana Damrau and Benjamin Bernheim under conductor Antonino Fogliani. The season continues with Tobias Kratzer and Vladimir Jurowski's acclaimed new Ring cycle, building toward Wagner's Twilight of the Gods. The Bavarian State Ballet opens with John Neumeier's The Lady of the Camellias on 20 September 2026, and the 2027 Ballet Festival Week brings Pina Bausch's dance-opera adaptation of Gluck's Orpheus und Eurydike, performed by singers and dancers as equals, from 9 to 16 April 2027. May sees the return of Christopher Wheeldon's Cinderella, before the season closes with the Munich Opera Festival in June/July — one of the world's great celebrations of opera, ballet, and orchestral performance. Premium tickets and hospitality packages are available across the full 2026/27 programme.
