This is where the company stages its major Wagner cycles, contemporary productions, and the bulk of its mainstage opera season.

Opened in 1875 and designed by Charles Garnier, this is the Paris Opera in its most theatrical form — a Beaux-Arts masterpiece of marble staircases, gilded ceilings, and the famous Marc Chagall fresco suspended above a seven-ton bronze chandelier. Today it's the primary home of the Paris Opera Ballet, alongside a select run of operas each season.
